David Blondeel
Pianist
Trained at the Conservatoire de Paris, the Conservatoire International de Musique de Paris, the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the École Supérieure de Musique et Danse de Lille, I have shaped my musical path through rich encounters and diverse teaching experiences, developing a sensitive and committed approach to the piano.
Passionate about teaching and creation, I now compose and teach in several conservatories in the Hauts-de-France region. I have notably worked in Arras and Soissons, where I was appointed as a professor in 2021.

Composition
An essential place in my artistic journey is occupied by composition. It allows me to explore a personal musical language, shaped by my experience as a performer and by a deep attachment to clarity of musical expression. For me, composing is a way of extending the pianistic gesture, giving rise to works in which expressiveness and structure respond to one another.

On Stage
On stage, the piano becomes a space for expression and dialogue. Through performance, I strive to serve the music with both rigor and sensitivity, building an authentic connection with the audience. Each concert is conceived as a moment of shared experience, where emotional depth and artistic discipline come together.
Chamber Music
Trio Lunis is a chamber music ensemble founded by Lautaro Cottin (flute), Ravi Ranganathan (cello), and David Blondeel (piano). Conservatory professors and active performers, they develop a rigorous and expressive musical identity rooted in attentive listening, ensemble coherence, and dialogue between repertoires.
